How Movie Filters Work: Type, Region, Year, and Sort

The movie category is titled 电影 and narrows the library by type, region, year, and sort. Sort is latest update, highest score, or newest year.

The movie page starts with a live count

From https://51ibo.com/ibo , 热门电影 opens /category/movie . The heading is 电影. Under it the page prints how many titles match, for example 共 2963 部 at the time it was reviewed. That count moves with the library. It is not a permanent inventory number. The same filter bar is used for series, variety, anime, shorts, and AI shorts. The heading and the genre words change with the channel.

Type, region, and year are three rows

The bar has 类型, 地区, and 年份. Each row starts with 全部. On the movie page at review time, types included 动作, 喜剧, 爱情, 悬疑, 科幻, 恐怖, 战争, 犯罪, 动画, 纪录片, 家庭, 冒险, 奇幻, and 历史. Regions included 大陆, 香港, 台湾, 美国, 英国, 日本, 韩国, 泰国, 印度, 欧洲, and 其他. Years are the years that actually have titles. Later catalog edits can change the chips. They do not move the three row labels.

Choosing a chip rewrites the category URL. 全部 clears that one row. Clearing type does not clear region or year. The three rows are independent.

Sort has three labels and no others

The 排序 row is 最新更新, 评分最高, and 年份最新. The default is 最新更新, and the URL can omit sort in that case. 评分最高 and 年份最新 are written into the query string on /category/movie . Changing type, region, or year does not silently reset sort. It resets only if you choose 最新更新 again.

A filter is not a search

Every chip is a category link. The header search still looks up a title, actor, or director, and that request goes to /search?q= instead of staying on the category filters. The category page answers which titles in this channel match the chips. The search page answers which titles, people, and articles match the words.

After the list, playback still starts on the title page

A poster opens the detail page. The filter bar does not play the file itself. The detail page then offers 立即播放, lines, and episodes. Filters only shorten the list. Trust the count and the chips on the page you are looking at, not an older screenshot.
